Make an enquiry

Tell us the shape of the team and what they are stuck on. You will get a reply with a proposed day plan and a figure.

Which level do you need?

Group size, rough dates, location, and what they are stuck on.

We use your details only to reply to this enquiry. No newsletter, no sharing, no affiliate tracking.

How it works

Three steps, no obligation

You will get a real proposal and a real figure, not a brochure.

Tell us what you need

The form below takes a minute. Group size, level, and what the team is stuck on.

We propose a shape

A day plan and a quote, built around your data rather than a stock syllabus. No obligation.

We come to you

Hands-on, in your office, on your data. Everyone leaves with a workbook they built themselves.

What a day covers, by level

Basic

The team is new to Tableau. Connecting data, building the core chart types, assembling a first dashboard and publishing it.

Advanced

The team can build dashboards but they break. Level of detail expressions, table calculations, data modelling, performance and dashboard actions.

All levels

A mixed room. We split the day so beginners get the foundations while stronger users work on the calculation engine.

Not sure which fits? Choose All levels in the form and describe the team. Most rooms are mixed, and it is usually the right answer.

Why on-site beats a public course

What you get

  • Training built around your data and your workbooks
  • One price for the group, not per head
  • No travel time or expenses for your team
  • Questions answered about your actual problems, not a sample data set
  • Everyone at the same standard by the end of the day

When a course is better

  • One or two people rather than a team
  • No budget approval, or you want to start this evening
  • You want a certificate rather than capability
  • The team can already build and just needs specific gaps closed

In those cases our course guides will serve you better, and they are free to read. Or compare every Tableau training route side by side.

In-person training questions

How much does in-person Tableau training cost?

It depends on group size, how many days you need and where you are, so we quote per engagement rather than publishing a day rate that would be wrong for most enquiries.

As a rough guide, on-site training is priced per day for the whole group rather than per head, which usually makes it cheaper than sending six or more people on individual public courses. Tell us the group size and location in the form and you will get a real figure back.

How many people can you train at once?

Between four and twelve works best. Below four, a public course or self-paced training is usually better value. Above twelve, hands-on help during exercises gets thin and we would suggest running two sessions.

We can go larger for a lecture-style overview, but the value of in-person training is the trainer looking over someone's shoulder while they build, and that does not scale past about a dozen.

Can you train us on our own data?

Yes, and it is the single biggest reason to choose on-site training over a course. Working through your own workbooks and your own data model means people leave with something they actually use rather than a Superstore dashboard.

Send an anonymised extract ahead of the session and the exercises get built around it. If the data is sensitive, we can work from a synthetic set with the same shape.

Do you cover Tableau Prep and Tableau Server as well as Desktop?

Yes. Prep in particular is worth including, because most of the problems teams bring to training turn out to be data shape problems rather than charting problems.

Server and Cloud topics such as publishing, permissions, extract refresh scheduling and row-level security can be included where your team administers its own site.

Where can you deliver training?

At your offices, anywhere in the UK. We also deliver remotely over video for distributed teams, which works better than most people expect for the hands-on parts.

For locations outside the UK, ask. Travel is quoted separately and honestly.
